1. Executive Overview & Data Ethics

LandScopeAPI.com ("LandScope", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by Quite Good Project, provides high-speed PostGIS parcel boundary lookups, 2D setback geometry calculations, deed owner verification, and solar roof sizing APIs for AI agents, underwriters, and solar contractors.

We enforce a strict zero consumer data brokerage policy. We query authoritative, publicly available county appraisal district tax rolls, municipal zoning ordinances, and state GIS datasets. We do not track, profile, broker, or sell private end-user behavioral records.

2. Data We Collect & Process

We collect only the minimum data required to deliver and protect our API infrastructure:

• Developer Account & Billing: Email address and Stripe customer metadata when provisioning API keys or paid subscription tiers. Full credit card numbers are handled exclusively by Stripe and never touch our servers.
• Spatial Query Telemetry: Anonymized coordinate lookups, APN queries, execution latency logs, and rate limit counters to maintain server capacity and prevent DDoS attacks.
• Lead Dispatch Data: If using the <landscope-widget> embeddable component on contractor platforms, captured homeowner contact phone numbers and applicant names are forwarded solely to the authorized subscriber account holder.

3. Sub-Processors & Infrastructure Security

We share operational data only with certified enterprise infrastructure providers:

• Stripe, Inc. — PCI-DSS Level 1 payment gateway and subscription lifecycle management.
• Cloudflare, Inc. — Edge DNS routing, SSL/TLS termination, and DDoS mitigation.
• PostgreSQL / PostGIS Cloud Engine — Encrypted spatial database cluster (AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit).

4. GDPR, UK DPA 2018 & CCPA Compliance

Under the UK Data Protection Act 2018, EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you retain full rights to inspect, export, or request the permanent deletion of your account and API telemetry records at any time.
